When you make a to-do list and it's full of things you don't actually want to do, like calling Utah Retirement Systems about rolling your 401k into your IRA and registering your car in a new state, you should always add something pleasant to your list. Like 'Find Mom's hidden stash of Dove dark chocolate and eat half the bag.'

I love this sentence. (Marmot Dad)
Well, I read it as a single sentence. (MD)
If I'd been following proper usage, it would have been one sentence.
Yay! I can still be the favorite daughter because I DON'T eat Mom's stash . . . or steal her jackets. Many thanks.
Still?! You have to be the favorite daughter before you can remain the favorite daughter. And Mom says she was planning to show me the chocolate supply and that it's just in an unexpected location because it's more convenient to reach there. She did hide the jacket, though.
