This picture is from the day before. We were out driving and I was snapping pictures of everything that caught my fancy. I saw this little church in the middle of nowhere and was so taken with it, especially the blue door.

Sunday Walk + Charming Church
Sunday evening Steve and I went walking at a local reservoir. The reservoir was built between 1845 and 1860 and the whole complex--the reservoir itself, the ranger station, the playground, the walking path--is so charming.
A monkey puzzle tree! These trees are prehistoric and the name comes from the strange, spiny leaves that don't allow animals to climb the branches (as pictured below).
