Away We Go

Tomorrow we'll be in Atlanta.

Yesterday we spent 7 hours at the allotment in preparation for our departure.
We cleaned the entire house (except for the cheese drawer).
We packed our clothes and our electronics and crunchy granola bars for Steve and soft granola bars for me.
We had the talk about how Georgia and Tennessee are hot in the summer. And humid. And how we might have to wear shorts. And how shorts are okay. They're okay.

Now we just have to
1. Attend church.
2. Come directly home from church without speaking to anyone after the meetings.
3. Eat grilled cheese sandwiches.
4. Catch a bus to the bus station.
5. Catch another bus to Edinburgh.
6. Catch another bus to our hotel.
7. Go to bed early.
8. Wake up REALLY early.
9. Catch a bus to the airport.
10. Explain to Delta that my last name changed since I purchased the ticket.
11. Fly.

And that's all. Then we'll be in Atlanta. Of course, our actual destination is Canada, so . . .

Oooh. It has been a while since I have clicked over. Nice look!

I wish I could live in a place where shorts were not required in the summer. Like Scotland. Or even perhaps Canada. The East Coast in the summer kills me.

Hope you have a lovely trip!

Lady Susan--Yeah, I love the new Blogger templates.

CSIowa--I was instructed that the shoes with holes give him blisters and that he would manage without them. I should have packed them anyway.

Meg--Don't be yet. We're still going through the hassle part--planes and buses and visa appointments.
