Jason Marsden
The names are similar. The faces are not dissimilar. (Although this is an old picture of Jason Marsden). I wondered, though, how James Marsden became so popular, because I remembered him from his roles in a number of extra cheesy sitcoms and shows that nobody else has ever heard of. I was, apparently, the only person in America who watched Eerie, Indiana or Almost Home (the network's attempt to save The Torkelsons, another show for which I was the only viewer--and having just watched the YouTube video clip, I'm feeling very embarrassed for myself that I was such an avid viewer).
I did my James Marsden research this week, though, (you've got to do a little background checking before you add someone to the Imaginary Boyfriend List) and discovered how he moved from bad sitcom land to major movie success: different person.

At least you weren't watching Full House. Or were you? I saw a rerun recently, and it was so bad!
Well, you were not the only viewer of Almost Home and The Torkelson's. Yes, I too was very much a fan. Maybe we should start a support group.
ep--Really!? I've never met anyone who watched The Torkelson's. I knew we should be friends.
And, yes, Full House was very bad, but somehow I didn't notice at the time.
Don't knock full house. It got me through some tough times.
James Marsden was great in Hairspray. Now I'm going to have to look up Jason Marsden on imdb to see what he's up to.
Yes, I was a large Torkelson fan. AND, I was talking with Joe and he did not watch the Torkelson's but did watched Erie, Indiana (not "a lot, but when I could"). Are support group is growing...
James Mardsen was also good in X-Men which is where I recognize him from.
I wouldn't feel to bad MBC, George Bush has been laboring under the delusion that he as a been acting like a president and not an imperialist.
I loved Eerie Indiana. I used to watch it with Dad! I also watched the Torkleson's, and Almost Home. It was on when I was about the same age as the lead girl. She inspired me to write in my diary.
