If you're gonna be squeezin', guess we'd better swab off the Marmots.

Excited to see you! .... MarmDad

Trust me you are not the only one counting the days, hours, minutes, seconds. I know Steve is. I called the other day and he was too busy counting to talk much or was it that you beeped in. Either way I was more than happy to give way to more pressing matters Steve's mind.

I'm smiling big. That email number is not as excessive as I was expecting. MBC is getting married!

did you really keep track of the emails?

I think you ought to print out the emails and wallpaper one of the rooms of your flat with them. It can inspire romance in everyone who walks in.

Just some helpful decorating hints.

Marmot Dad--
1. What's up with the shortening of your name? Just curious.
2. Yes, please wash the little scoundrels down.
3. I'm excited too!

KWB--He IS excited. Excited enough for both of us and possibly the rest of the family as well.

Eliana--It's the number of hours on Skype that's probably shocking.

Lori--Thanks!

Meg--I'm excited to meet you, too!

James--I just went back and counted. They're all on Google, where the little number of emails is conveniently out to the side of each email chain. We usually keep replying to one thread for a long time. I think the longest was 51 emails on one thread, before it started to make the browser crash.

Amy--Genius. You should have your own show on HGTV!

MBC ... I just got to thinking one day that Marmot Dad might strike people as a bit pretentious. That's all. Besides, Americans always whittle down the syllable count whenever they can. MarmDad even risks being hip. Well, actually, either is quite serviceable when commenting on your blog. I haven't tried to use the moniker elsewhere. Not even once. Not in any iteration. But MD sounds like I've really studied something. Should try that out.

Hey, where do I send your non-object gift to? (email me, please) And, on a side note, I actually printed off all the emails Ben sent to me. A brilliant idea, as he went and lost his journal, and I no longer have that email account.
