Our friend Sue Anne made our wedding cake (she even made the flowers out of sugar paste). Red velvet delightfulness.
This is not such a great picture (kindly disregard my hair) except that it shows the yarn and construction paper necklace M(5) fashioned for me to wear at the reception. Also, please note M(5) herself in the lower, right-hand corner of the photo. She spent a good portion of the day either attached to my hand/waist or trailing close by.

Not pictured: Steve's fruitcake groom's cake, a piece of which Steve took to Fred, his rental car agent, for being so nice to him when Steve flew into Salt Lake and the airline lost his luggage.
Not pictured: Tuey hopping about in the hat my brother brought him from southeast Asia.
Not pictured: Marmot Babe enamored with Steve's 4-month-old niece. At one point, my sister had both babies on her lap. Marmot Babe was very pleased, repeating, "Hold it, hold it!"
Not pictured: MBC falling ill and keeping her parents up with her hacking coughs the night before the wedding.
Not pictured: MBC and Steve's tasty pre-wedding breakfast. We wandered into a little bakery/cafe the morning of the wedding and when we asked for a menu, we were informed that there was no menu, but that they'd be happy to fix anything we'd like. Yes, please.
Speaking of food, the crumpets in the kitchen are calling to me.

A restaurant perfect for the wedding day! I hope Scotland embraces you wholeheartedly. And that you wear your special heart necklace wherever you go.
Your pictures are beautiful, as expected. Thank you for including me in this special day.
Those photos are beautiful, Marcene did a good job!
Even the simplest weddings seem to have their fill of...much.
The pictures are lovely, as is your dress. And you guys look happy and in love. Good luck settling down together in Scotland!
Now... I must know. Where is this accommodating little bakery café?
Sean--The cafe is in Ogden, behind the Marriott, down the street from the train station. I don't know what the name is. It's just a little place. I should note that the food was good but not fantastic. The people were great, though, and I loved that they were willing to just make up whatever we wanted.
Hooray! I especially love the necklace.
