I love movie trailers. Sometimes I love them more than the actual films. I'm sorry to report, though, that the trailers for my three favorite movies are not my favorite movie trailers. All three films came out before the movie trailer genre really hit its golden age. Nonetheless, the full-lenth features are all lovely.
I first saw Empire of the Sun when I was 11. My parents brought it home because they thought my brother would enjoy it. He did, but I was the one who became obsessed with it and worked so hard to record the music off the film with my tape recorder held up to the TV.
A friend in college introduced me to Some Like It Hot. At one point, I laughed so hard that I fell off the couch.
I discovered Bandits in graduate school and it also makes me laugh. Beavers and ducks!

That's amazing I loved Empire of the Sun, not so keen on Some Like it Hot, but I've never seen Bandits. How did I miss Bruce Willis and Billy Bob together. I do love movies. Used to do 4 movies a week when in college.

I freakin' love "Some Like it Hot"... you know it was my parents' first date apparently. They don't remember much about the movie though. *rolls eyes* If you ever want to watch SLIH with a girl (or any classic movie for that matter), you know where I am. :-)
I'm with you. I love movie trailers. I introduced myself to "Empire of the Sun" when I went through a brief Christian Bale thing. I haven't seen the other two--yet. Thanks for the suggestions.
KWB--Dad had a similar movie schedule when he was in college. I think he saw everything that came out at least once.
Becky--I might take you up on that offer sometime. Somebody is not a big movie fan.
Yankee Girl--Ooh, yeah, try the other two. They're very different from Empire of the Sun, but lovely.
