We're in Montreal while Steve attends a conference. The university didn't inform him they were funding the trip until after Steve had booked us budget accommodations. We're staying in a dorm room without air conditioning. WITHOUT air conditioning. It's approximately 5,000 degrees in our room.
Tonight Steve and I scheduled our evening around the location of businesses with temperatures below 90 degrees, loitering in the frozen food section of Provigo and making a visit to Mr. Tim Horton for doughnuts. I was having trouble deciding between the two doughnuts I wanted.
Steve: Don't worry. There will be lots more opportunities to eat at Tim Horton's.
MBC: No, there won't. We can come here maximum once a month.
Steve: What?! I used to come here every week.
MBC: What?!
Steve: And last year when I was here, Sandy and I bought a dozen doughnuts and ate them.
MBC: How long did it take you to eat them?
Steve: We ate them for lunch. We each ate six.
MBC: ?!
I have a hard time imagining two women thinking that was a good idea. I may be wrong, but I find it hard to imagine.

Oh, I guarantee you that I could find several men who would think this a good idea ... and then reverse their position immediately upon completion of the task. --MarmotDan
If you get sick of going to Tim Horton's, make sure to go to Cora's. (That's a chain that I dearly wish would cross the border.)
I'm with Marmot Dad on the doughnuts. Don't worry Tim's are all over the place. You'll have go to Cora's. It's pricey but incredible.

It's okay the donuts are smaller now, less calories. So now you can eat more!
I'm with Steve: when I returned from Antarctica, where I had been forced to eat in a cafeteria setting for the past 5 months, the first place I went was Dunkin Doughnuts and purchased a dozen of their tasty delights for dinner. I didn't eat them all that night and I was glad I didn't because the next day was Waitungi Day and all the banks were closed and being without a credit card or any other money couldn't buy a morsel to eat so all I had to eat for four consecutive meals were those dozen doughnuts. Yeah Doughnuts!
