We're at Blackwater Falls in West Virginia enjoying the beautiful surroundings and convincing Steve that ticks are not the problem he imagines them to be.
Yesterday a nearby town held Mountaineer Days to celebrate the 4th of July so Steve, my parents, my brother, my sister-in-law, and I drove down to participate. I won patriotic cupcakes in the cake walk. Elvis performed. We watched fireworks from the cemetery.

Marmot Dad--The chiggers worry him, too. When I came out of my biometrics appointment, he was sitting on the grass with his pants tucked into his socks to protect himself from them.
SEE. Still alive - so after his performance did he answer any questions about his fake death? Where he's been all this time? ;)
