I DO Want Charles in Charge of Me

This has been the great philosophical question in our home for the last several weeks--
Charles in Charge: is it the television show with the greatest theme song ever?

I think it well may be.

I'm also very fond of the openings for Bosom Buddies and Small Wonder (a show which Steve refuses to give its proper respect).

What do you think?

Steve, you are an IDIOT! I have never met you, and now I never want to. MBC, get a divorce.

Gidget = best theme song + credits ever.

Steve, I apologize for my harsh words. I think it's obvious now how I feel about girl robots.

After spending two hours trying to remember the theme song to "Who's the Boss," I decided that it is among the greatest.

However, the absolute greatest TV theme song is to "Perfect Strangers." It's both catchy and inspirational.

I have a thing for "Happy Days" and "Laverne & Shirley." :-)

Rebekah--Girl robots do bring out strong emotions. Steve says he just can't understand the appeal, but then he loved TV shows about truck driving as a child, so, it takes all kinds.

E--It is catchy and inspirational, as is the theme song to Punky Brewster.

CSIowa--Most excellent.

Ldsjaneite--Those are good ones. I just remembered that I also very much love the theme to WKRP.

SK agrees. I'm fond of the Alf theme song, also Gummy Bears and Valerie's Family.

I didn't say I watched the shows. The theme songs are art unto themselves in some cases...
