I'm losing my spelling and pronunciation skills. I can't remember if skeptical is an American or British spelling. I heard myself pronounce na'an as nan the other day.
I continue to yell at the TV, though, when Liv Tyler pronounces Pantene as Panten. E___e = ee. I distinctly remember that lesson from the first grade.

I think you're okay as long as you don't start saying "pronounciation."
So you are beginning to crossover. I would be sceptical if you could maintain your pure accent of birth throughout your life. No fear some things will never change such as crudites. My southern Californian/Mainland Nova Scotia/Cape Breton/Newfoundland/French Canadian/Bostonian/Oklahoman accent have suffered much abuse over the years. Just be grateful you can communicate at all. Blame it on Nimrod and his stupid tower.
ooh, I remember Pantene commercials--drove me nuts!
