Steve and I picked up our wedding announcements today. In the photograph of the two of us, it looks like I'm only 4-5 inches shorter than Steve. This is entirely due to the three phone books I am standing on in the picture.
Aw, you're like Jaren and me! I wore the most uncomfortable (and very ugly, in retrospect) high heels on our wedding day so I wouldn't look like a midget. I got over caring about that quickly.
in our engagement photo dine looks like she is shorter than me. As we all know in reality if she is it is by a fraction of an inch. But hey, we coxes are not known for being tall
MARYBETH!!! I hadn't checked your blog for a while and this is the most exciting, bestest news!! You are going to write a best seller now, right? Oh my heck. Congratulations in a huge way. Talk about "following your bliss". Quitting your job and finding a husband.
In fact, I was so excited and so swept up in the story that I was almost moved to tears. It's just so exciting. So bless you and keep in touch!
OK everybody . . . move aside. I've got the best: we got "engagement" pictures taken 8 months AFTER our wedding and . . . I was pregnant. Yeah, pregnant engagement pictures (OK, so I'm not visibly pregnant, but still).
Okay, I'm a little slow at checking blogs... First of all CONGRATS!! I am very happy for you. Second of all PHOTOS SHMOTOS!! The best pictures are the ones that tell a thousand words, even if those words are little white lies :) I'm doing a happy dance for you right now...
My engagement photo was taken in a terrible rush at sunset by a random pond near a big building in Provo. We both look clueless (deer-in-the-headlight look) with wierd shadows lurking behind us. My dress didn't fit right, so Quinn was holding the back of my dress down to "make it look better." It obviously didn't work. I'm still embarrassed we sent those pictures out.
Lisa--I'm still not entirely pleased with our picture. I don't like how I look and Steve looks nervous. I didn't care enough to try taking more photos, though. I just found one of the outtakes from your photos. The one where Quinn's helping you up on a rock. It made me laugh.

The photo is only trying to show that you two are spiritually matched.

In our engagement picture I am sitting on a branch in a tree making me much taller than Shane.
Todd looks gay in our engagement photo. I'd rather a height issue.
