Requirements for a NICE Day

1. The UK Border Patrol contacted me today and my visa is approved. We are all set to return to Scotland in September without hassles at passport control. Hooray!

2. We visited one of Steve's favorite places today--a gristmill. Steve now believes we should own a mill. I disagree, but I did enjoy the mill and the oatcakes we bought at the mill.

3. A town near us held a luncheon and bazaar today. I had my first taste of lobster (and scallops) in the seafood chowder. Lovely.

4. Did I mention that my visa's approved? Yeah? It's really good news.

Oooh. I like how that Steve of yours thinks. There is a certain charm about owning a mill. ;) But then again the husband and I talk about being Amish.

Oh, I also took Ed and Cali to the mill last summer. Also one of favourite places. When you have the time you need to visit Victoria Park in Truro. That is my most favourite place in the world!!! The oatcakes are delish, but Nan's recipe is better.

Triple hooray on the visa. The Grist mill has always been one our favorite place to visit except for the time I locked the keys in the car. I've always loved the food at the local suppers.
