Welcome Winter

It is snowing. Church was cancelled yesterday and I was allowed to stay home from work today. I love staying home when it snows. Somebody else who lives here loves to go OUT in the snow and stomp around in the cold and exclaim over the Scots' inability to drive in weather conditions with which they are completely unfamiliar.

We put up our Christmas tree with some of our unexpected free time today, and it is so festive. Cheap-looking, but festive. All of my Christmas ornaments are in TN so we just picked up the least expensive box of tree decorations we could find at the grocery store and hung them on our £6 budget tree.

Here's fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a snow day too!

I need to move to Scotland. Snow rarely effects us here.

I woke up to 6-9 inches of snow Sunday morning. We didn't cancel anything. Last week, lots of things were canceled for a blizzard that blew itself out before it got to my neck of the woods. I love winter!

They are predicting snow here tomorrow morning, and that means everything will shut down. but it is supposed to get to 44 degrees later. Mom

A snow, how I miss you. I wish it would snow here. I just know the whole city would shut down, even for less then an inch.

Enjoy it!

November ends today. It has been the 3rd snowiest November on record. --MarmDad

This broke some kind of record for being the earliest snowfall here in 17 years and it's certainly disrupted the country. My train to work was canceled yesterday, so I got another snow day!
