Fun with the 1980s

Steve and I inherited a box of items from Steve's grandparents' house, including a Reader's Digest magazine from 1982.  It makes excellent bathroom reading, and I'm especially pleased with the great ads.

This kid is not ready for an airgun until someone tells him the truth about turtlenecks.

Oh, 1928, you're so quaint with your 'portable stereo' and tiny shorts.

We had an Atari.  It was awesome.

There are also very good ads for microwave ovens, birth control, and kerosene heaters.
