Steve has never met anyone Jewish. I find this most unusual, but the demographics of our two countries are different, so I have a couple of Jewish friends and he just has a strangely intense interest in Jewish culture and a huge amount of surprise that 'Goldstein' is a Jewish name.
He really wants a Jewish friend, but in the meantime he spends a bit of time every week on Jew FAQ and queries me about whether or not Jews can eat certain foods and in his sleep murmurs, "The Jews, the Jews." No kidding. And that's why he's never meeting my Jewish friends.

Everyone thinks Todd is a Jew, which he is fine with. He can be practice for Steve if you want.
I promise I won't be weird around Jews. In the past I feel like I've missed out on meeting Jews because I thought they were just plain old Germans - considering their surnames just sound German to me.
For the record, I did live in a West Kildonan/Garden City for 2 years, so I must have inadvertently met some Jews, but I wouldn't have known because I was expecting them to wear those kind of hats. And my friend's Dad used to be Jewish, but he quit when he joined the church -so I'm not sure that counts... but maybe it does.
What about Emily whom you met at Sue Anne's? Not only was she a Jew, but she was a Jew from NS!!!
