Out of the Mouths of 11-Year-Olds

We take two brothers--11 and 13-years-old--to church with us every week.  Their mom works at the market just a few minutes down the road from us, so she drops the boys off (EARLY) in the morning and picks them up in the afternoon at the end of her shift.

This morning when I called them back to the breakfast table to take their dishes to the sink, the 11-year-old very matter of factly told me, "Don't expect such good behavior like this from [The Bairn] when he's our age.  You know why?  Because we're guests.  Eleven-year-old boys aren't usually like this."
