Did you know it's 2013?

Resolutions, resolutions, resoLUtions!

Last year, I chose a theme instead of resolutions, and I accomplished loads of stuff, such as:
  1. Having a baby
  2. Moving to a new country.
  3. Completing all of my immigration/customs junk.
  4. Setting up an education fund for The Bairn, applying for life insurance for Steve, creating a system to track all our spending, and other grown up putting-life-in-order stuff.
This year I'm back to resolutions.

Resolved:

1. Make Friends.
It's not that I don't have friends, but I'm still figuring out the whole Being Married with Friends thing, since I left all of my ready made friends in America. Mission number one is to befriend Steve's colleague's girlfriend who I met at American Thanksgiving.  I like her (and not just because of her English accent). Fortunately, she just invited us over for dinner later this week.  Goal in progress with no effort on my part.  Excellent.

2. Date Steve.

Phase 1: Re-sleep train The Bairn so that he can one day be left with non-family members at night.

It seems like there should be more, like Blog Better.  Maybe next year.

We've decided no more resolutions, at our age if we aren't doing now we never will. I never had any friends so I just adopted my wife's, as we all got married within a few years of each other it was dead easy with the married with friends problem.
